Their are aliens both indeginous and from outer space, who have been visiting us, humans, for centuries. What they display is very high technology, almost like magic, and a egregious intention to make human sacrifice! For them we are like a herd of species those that they have created to test, temper and expire in a sporty hunt. Would we develop any weapon against the alien 👽 Yautja? Well, that's a hard question, we've not been able to identify any weaknesses, homogenization hasn't happened because the Yautja has been discreet, it wants to hunt and would leave no scope of giving anything to us, that's not in its nature. Best solution is to stay very low tech civilization against it and be unarmed. The cat and mouse game is all that we have, give & take is more about submission to it, instead of fighting it, as it has some other agrndas more threatening than us humans.
